I've been wanting to pick this one up.  Mark Bowden is a great writer - very engaging.  I went through Black Hawk Down in 2 days.

I've read the book, and watched the movie..no idea it was based in fact!

Mark Bowden is an excellent, and accessible writer

Actually Clancy's book came out 3 years before this stuff happened.  :)
