Police intercepted a cell phone call while he was outrunning the cops aka OJ Simpson...they convinced him to give up with his parents on the phone at the same time, his only requirement was that "No one hurts me"...then I start thinking "But this guy gets his rocks off and blowing folks up, why not tell him "Sure, we won't hurt you" and then part of his sentencing would be to take one of the pipe bombs, shove it up his rectom, and give a remote detonator to a couple of 3 year olds who play with it in a separate room...I'd love to see this guy sweat.

"I really want you to know that Luke is not a dangerous person," Cameron Helder said. "I think he's just trying to make a statement about the way our government is run. I think Luke wants people to listen to his ideas, and not enough people are hearing him, and he thinks this may help."

I think his Dad needs a punch in the teeth too.

Well what did you expect from a conservative Mid-America middle class upbringing? This poor kid never had a chance. He was probably never taught to be accepting and openminded of others. He probably heard over and over from his reactionary parents about how the Country was going to hell due to the massive influx of brown skinned pagans. Even his liberal university education couldn't sway his poor twisted right wing mind.

FYI:Wisconsin is one of the most predomiently democrat and college-influenced liberal states in the 50. Also 3rd or 4th in highest taxes . (due to the preceeding)

You reap what you sow.

Rip and Mickey, I agree with you. Rip only suggestion is to have about 50 kids and detonators but only 5 really work. Let the punk REALLY sweat. Perhaps his dad should have the same for him and he can "feel his son's pain".

Oh sheeesh, Rip, I'm getting aroused at the visual...Luke strapped face down over an Ottoman, two Nazi-clad prison guards in really tight pants are lubing up a pipe bomb with K-Y Jelly, Luke is all sweaty with fear and dread... and we say "Hey dude, this is how YOU get your rocks off, so fair is fair!" ... I'm with you, bud. I hope this is what they do with him and I hope we get to watch it.

No, we need to send him back to Wisconsin and give him a fair trail. He'll be found guilty, and sentenced to life in prison. Let the Wisconsin liberals support his whiney, effeminate, and liberal bellybutton for as long as he can survive his sentence.

Yeah Voss. You're slightly ahead of Ripsnork and slightly behind 10-speed blenders on the intelligence ladder and I'm tired of these slanderous attacks against Wisconsinites. You want nuts? Look at Texas. You want fruits? Look at California. You want good old fashioned family values by smiling, friendly cow milking people who play accordions and go to bed at eight thirty? Look at Wisconsin.

You Conservatives amaze me in your efforts to politicize EVERY issue into your sick and twisted view of New Facisism by blaming every nut burger on liberals. This dude was a Republican through and through.

Awful defensive there, Elfie.

I rate you about 110, which puts you below average. Keep trying mate. Oh, wait, I forgot that's actually pretty good for a liberal.

Good job!

He's not from Wisconsin. He's from Pine Island, Minnesota, which is just 15 miles north of me in Rochester.

gto... is that 6 speed a richmond gear tranny?  If so, how do you like it?   I was thinking of replacing my 4 speed in my big block 69 El Camino with either the 5 or six speed richmond.

Yep its a richmond, I like it alot, it was the best mod I ever did, pop it into 6th on the freeway and go 70 and i was only turning 2500 RPM or so.

First in it was 3.30

First in a munchi is 2.20.

Thats like having 4.56 gears lol when you really have 3.55s.

The Tranny is a bit Pricey and the Shifter is a bit stiff, but I never got much of a chance to break it in, I got about 3000 miles on the car and cracked the frame.

If you do get one you may want to avoid ordering it from Summit, lol took them 3 months to ship it.

gto.. thanks.. My car is a 69 el camino with a big block and 3.31 posi.

I would settle for the 5 speed but it is 1.1 in fifth and I want an overdrive to cruise at 2,000 rpm .   Ok soooo... what did you have to change other than clutch disc and front yoke on the driveshaft?

It appears that the richmond has the mount back a few inches so the crossmember would not bolt up.   The linkage is hurst right?   What do you mean by "stiff"?
thanks

Lazs
I had to have the drive shaft shortend, so I just had a new one made up. The Richmond gear instructions say to shorten the front yoke on the shadft it uses a turbo 400 front yoke, but it needs to be shortend so it doesnt hit the speedo gear in the tranny, local shop did a whole new drive shaft including the shorten of the yoke for 100 bucks.

The stock crossmember worked ok, I just had to drill new holes for it.

The hard part was the tunnel, the richmond is taller then the munchie was so we ended up cutting a fairly large section out of the floor, then taking a donor section from a parts GTO bending it  a little and bolting that in, this worked out well, cause we could ajust the shifter linkage from above.

The shifter is from a company called LONG, and shifts pretty good, with just a little more resistance then the  hurst on the muncie did, but I am told once you get a few miles on it it smooths right out.

with 331 gears you will prolly be very close to that 2000 rpm cruse!

Tranny uses standard GM speedo gears that any shop should be able to supply.
