Fester doesn't scare me. I've killed him three times now; twice in a row tonight in the main.
He sucks.
I've also killed -eagl- in a 1v1 duel to the death (me in my wimpy SpitIX, -eagl- in his mighty Ju-52). Haven't run into =drex= on line yet. I'd probibly have to kill him, too.
Sucks to be as good as I am. No competiton anymore.
:D Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to RUN LIKE HELL for the nearest exit :D
I'd also like to point out that nothing older than 14 days can be held against someone at the con. :p

Anyway I love it when I kill Fester! His quickness in dogfighting is only surpassed by his amazing ability to type "roadkill!!!" even before the kill message appears... Truley an ace!

Why? (Tour 26 stats)
K/D > 20 - no human being could manage a K/D > 20
Caps total 15 - no human being could manage 15 caps
Time online > 177h - this is the most important arguement. Every day sitting about 6h in front of AH isn't possible cause ur eyes will fall out of ur face if u trespass the magical "3h each day per month eyes fall out the face" border.

Only seen him Vulch lately.
Not that there is something wrong with that, had a nice vulch early this tour aswell, 19 kills in the F4u 1C without reload, then a high 109 came in and spoiled then fun, still had ammo left but since the 109 came in (which wasn't a problem really) 4 or 5 nikis, Spit, La7's mannage to get off the field, and to say the least, they weren't happy...

He actually got me twice, lol.
He cherry picked me on the first one. Not a problem, we all do it. I was engaged on a spit. I do a quick rear scan, then nose down to gain closure, then Fester whacked me. Never saw him but thats the way it goes. Didn't even know what a/c but knew it was .50's.
2nd time I get a little too close to a small group of bandits so I turn away and dive a little, knowing Hooligan and Lazs aren't too far from me. I see a P47D11 closing on me. I'm too fast for decent handling in the A6M5, so instead of an aggressive manuver, I go pure defensive. When I come out of an immelman, wham!! The P47 was Fester. He followed me thru.
Thats what I get for being complacent. Shouldn't have relied on one manuver. I know better.

this lil monkey is bloody good as well because he is afk often
that explain those 177 hours online
so when you shot down fester and he isnt responding, you probably shot down his lil monkey (she is good but cant read :/ )
good way how to determine if you fighting vs Fester or his lil friend is to dive about 550 MPH
now you will see true .. if he will not recover it was his lil monkey trying to pull, but FF stick is to strong and mokey is doomed
if he will pull you are doomed :cool:

I was in a bomber about a month ago as a gunner. The pilot was in the external views admiring the scenery, and watching for fighters while I was scouring the sky from the various turrets.
Ping, ping, ping..."kaboom" ...from outta nowhere.

My first reaction was to yell "Cheat", but I didn't. I have seen that Fester has alot of respect in here and I assume he hit us from precisely where we weren't looking.
Dunno how though...

I saw a lone plane was in an isolated sector and figured it was attacking the base. I up'd to defend it and stumbled across a low P-38 en-route to a JABO run on the field. I had an energy advantage and came in on the plane. He made a move with his bombs attatched and I climbed away. As I came in again.. I saw him release his ord, but didn't think it was in time. Then came the pattented flip move and I was toast. He was killed by the ack a little later.
We both up'd and met halfway between the bases. The merge was pretty neutral and fester tried to get me into the same situation.. setting me up for the flip. I came in behind and did something a little different... and I wasn't where he was expecting me when he came around. I lit him up and was rewarded with a 1:1 kill against Fester. He issued a .
...then he came back in an N1K2.

Fester has the unsurpassed skill to hit you when he's pointing away or passed you. He has the skill of take hits to the cockpit and fly away..
Now that's what I call skill. Or bad connections.

no comment on the fester thing... iv had a few encounters in the past with this guy usualy with him killing me(although ive killed him twice i think)..when hes in a area i always go elswhere..
i find it hard to find some players ingame truley genuine..:)

Hey puck, that was a true gem of a post! Nice humor. If it were not for the side arms on my chair, I would have fallen right out of it.
I would just like to add that I have recently begun Psychological examinations for the extreme reactions that occur when I encounter the word "Fester". I can only just control myself when I type his name.:mad: A full diagnosis is not yet complete, but the disease set in about the time that I foolishly and repeatedly sought out Fester in my P-51. He was in a 262. Stop shaking your head! I know I should have at least brought 30 wingmen with me and I should have started with at least a 30K alt advantage. But hey, I'm helping to create a breakthrough in the world of scientific mental examination. Now, if I could only deal with this weird neck brace they gave me, and the new haircut so I can plug into the machine better.:confused:

I remember going Fester hunting a while ago.Found him alone in his high p38 so I leveled at 300knts going 180 degs away.He slowly closed to 2k behind me and I pulled hard verticle and jinked.After several loops and jinks we were even E and then he went into a short spin.I used opportunity to climb while he leveled out.Third B&Z pass I smoked both his engines and he went into another spin and crashed...:D
We then immediatly went into the DA and after a round in P38's,we went SpitV's...Around and around we danced,I got snapshot and smoked his engine.A couple of turns later shot his wing off too"...:D
The best Fester kill of all was a long range semi HO with my 109g-6's 30mm..."POOF!!!"..."You have killed Fester...:p
The /.squelch1 sure came in handy after that one...:eek:

i'm just posting because....yeah just because.....Fester is really good not invincible but hey maintaining close to a 20k/d is excellent no matter how he did it. fact is he did and he doesn't brag about it either so he's all right in my book...
