Title: effective weapon ranges

What are the effective ranges of the various AA guns on the field, ships and ground vehicles?

Use the .target command and test them offline . The max range of the artillery guns is in a readme file or something .

Field/fleet AI tracer ack range: about 4-5k.
FLAK: From 3k till orbit.

Flakpanzer: up to d2.5 from what i've seen. Ask GTR ;)
m3/m16/gv .50 cal: d1.5~1.8

These numbers seem to be pretty accurate for aimed shots.  For lucky shots you should probably add about 1/3-1/2 more.  I've been blasted by fleet ack out to about D7.0 on lucky shots and from Flakpanzers out to ~D3.5.  Some guys are way more accurate than others though so expect some long range shots to land.
