Please consider awarding more points for killing a buff with a gunner then one without.
A buff that is flown and defended at the same time is a tougher bird.
Any way to determine a ratio of the enemy to friendly planes / vehicles in the near vicinity (3000-6000 yards) to modify the kill points awarded? Get your prey in a gangbang or a vulchfest and see your reward greatly diminished. Attack an escorted box of bombers and be rewarded more.

Great suggestion! Cross post in Gameplay forum for visibility?

yes, this is a great idea! the perk system is not nearly complex or convoluted enough yet.

Hey, by the way, lazs....did I win the "perk point auction"? I need to know before I get rid of this pocket lint. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

The bid is up to 4 boxes of greenish 1942 "slightly corrosive" 230 grain ball 45 acp ammo. But... the lint is tempting.

Excellent suggestion Miko but if the crew bails out, you get credit for both kills. If the crew stays with the airplane 'till its dead (thru an explosion or crash), then the gunner gets a safe landing and you only get credit for killing the pilot.
Realized this might become an issue after attacking a 300mph gunned B-17 and a Split-S'ing gunned Lancaster last night. Its bad enough that a gunner can control the airplane from any turret but to with a pilot maneuvering the airplane to its stuctural limits, a bomber attack is hazardous and difficult. Against gunned bombers with two sets of eyes that can "leave the plane" with the F3 view, most sane tactics of attack become impossible. A spitfire is a far easier airplane to kill than a gunned B-17, especially when your plane only carries machine guns.

How does the gunner control the plane?
On the few occasions I've taken a buff, and I'm in the turret, my 'stick's controled turret traverse, not the plane.
Am I missing something again?
