While working my way throught college i spent time slaving at a local retail store. A parttime coworker was a retired navy pilot and he once told me this joke. The joke doesn't lend itself to being read but is best if orginally heard audibly!! Hope ya like it!
Chuck Yeager was recently addressing a pilot's conference:
"...there I was flying over Germany in my P51 when suddenly a fokker gets on my tail! I dove and twisted and turned my aircraft but I just couldn't shake this fokker..."
A member of the audience yelled out, "Hey, don't you mean Messerschmitt or Focke-Wulf?"
To which Mr. Yeager replied, "I wasn't describing the aircraft. I was describing the guy IN the aircraft!"
