Title: DDRAW.DLL run error

Had to restore my windows millenium and now ah wont start and I get the DDRAW.DLL run error and it says to check the file. System is a compaq amd 900 200 fsb with Geforce 3 Ti 200, 128 meg, 30 gig hd,cdrw,cd/dvd and audio excel sound card. AH ran fine before my lockup and subsequent restore using my recovery disk. Any suggestions ?? Thanks FF1:)

Get direct X 8.1 from http://www.microsoft.com/directx/

I reloaded dx8.1 and still get the DDRAW.DLL error when I try to start ah. I also redownloaded ah, but to no avail. I get a RRUN.DLL error when I restart my computer to. Im not sure wher e to proceed from here ?

ruh oh, sounds like somethin is porked....

post your dxdiag.txt here perhaps somethin obvious will stand out.

Sounds like the bindings between the video card driver and DX are gone.  Try reinstalling your video drivers.

here is the dxdiag.txt.  I have tried reloading the game and video drivers and dx8.1 but still get the DDRAW.DLL error.  At start up Im getting a RRUN32.dll creates error in Kernal32. dll also.
Thanks for the input thus far.  FF1
