Title: can't log in

do to a software prob unrelated to AH , i had to uninstall and reinstall some software ( actualy had to use recovery CD to restore some files ) on my computer, now when i click on the game link it says i am missing "DSOUND.DLL.12", also"a device attached to system is not functioning"

any ideas? do i have to do a fresh down load of AH? any help would be wellcome

You need to either re-install your sound card drivers, or Direct X 8.1, or both.

lephturn, thanks, reinstalled directx 8XX and that fixed it, must have lost the files when i did the recovery.
