there are several icon modes. The default toggle is "alt i"

yep i was told about this recently and it comes in very handy no more asking your team mates "what're you in?" just hit alt-i and instant plane id makes me wonder what else i'm not aware of heh

Yeah the only thing I don't like is that you have to hit "Alt - i" three more times before its back to the normal way

Thanks gentlemen. re-keyed it to F1. Double keystrokes suck :) Converted all the double keys I use to single key strokes.
