Title: Engine Start Smoke
Post by: Replicant on May 11, 2002, 06:50:24 PM
Hi all

Any chance engine start smoke could be modeled in AH?  It could be an optional on/off for those that struggle with FR.

It would be a nice little feature  :)

Regards

I just thought:

A vulcher is capping over the field.
his PC is not so good...
some players ups on the runway.
A vulcher starts diving.
players start the engines at the same time.
engines make a lot of puffs, and vulcher gets VERY low FRs.
and he crashed.

oh, it is the anti-vulch weapon! :D

As I originally stated, there could be an option to disable the engine start smoke within setup for those that struggle getting a decent FR.

Would love to have it.

Btw, if someone's sys specs are so low to be affected by this, they'll wanna stay away from any airfield anyway.

I guess if I was going to have HTC spend time to model something 'extra' I would vote for out-of-control aircraft in the case of pilot kills rather than the BOOM! that we have now.
