Title: Dallas area folks....
Post by: sling322 on May 12, 2002, 12:59:05 PM: Anyone planning on making the Warbirds over Addison show May 25th thru May 27th? I cant find a lot of info about it as far as what may be going on, but I plan on heading out there on Saturday the 25th.

If anyone wants to get together let me know. I was thinking maybe hanging out till they close and then heading over to the Flying Saucer in Addison for some beer afterwards. I will even let you buy me a beer or 3 since its my birthday. :D

Some time I'll have to tell you the story about my last trip down the guadelupe. It involves 100,000 drunk kids, 4 broken legs, an ambulance, one drunk college kid who "had it goin on" until he got busted for smoking pot next to a cop oh yeah and open flood gates on canyon lake :) what a day that was!

We can try to make plans to meet before hand if ya want.....or you can just look for the guy in the FDB T-shirt wandering around with a camera in hand. Our plans were to retire to the Flying Saucer afterward for a few brews. I guess if all else fails, we can meet after the show at the Flying Saucer.

That's fun but not as fun as floating while tubing Guadalupe ;)

So are you Austin guys planning to attend this airshow or did you just pop in here to be funny?? ;)

Sounds good Ronni....like I said before we plan on getting there around noon, but if you folks are heading out earlier than that, maybe I can get out of bed a little earlier. :)

Sounds good HT. We will try to make it to the office to caravan over with you, but if we dont, we will be at the show gates at 11:45 or so.

About the gentlemans club idea...I dont think that one will fly with Ronni or my girlfriend either one. :) As I posted before, our plans are to retire to the Flying Saucer on Belt Line in Addison afterwards for a few beers. Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome. I believe the show ends around 5 if I remember correctly.
