Well, here is my Ping plot, I highlighted the last 4 hops, since they seem to be the ones that may be causeing me some problems. I have very little lag, but when I attack a base or get into a furball, my lag goes thru the ceiling, and I can't fly. Now, here are the setting I have on for my registry and modem:
TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 54 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000
Any suggestions on what values I can change to get less warps when I "mix it up? Tks:confused:

Well I can't see any information on your route in the info you provided. But it sounds like you may be talking about frame rates rather than lag when you talk of things getting bad around bases or furballs. Your "lag" won't increase around bases or furballs but your FPS will drop.

Actually, it never happens in the training or combat arena at all. I can mix it up while attacking a base, get into furballs and the frame rate drops just a hair, but no warps or freezes...

Go get http://www.pingplotter.com and run a trace to tpl.hitechcreations.com
From the edit menu in Ping Plotter you can choose 'copy as picture' and then paste the results into Paint. Save it as a .jpg and then attach the picture to a BBS post in the Internte Connectivity forum.

What hardware you have?
