Title: War of Attrition: Score so far...
Post by: Sabre on May 13, 2002, 08:26:16 AM
Well, Pyro asked that we not reset the tour stats for BoB, as it causes them some problems to reset then mid month.  Luckily, most of the BoB planes were not in the last set up, and it was possible to construct at least a fuzzy picture of how the war of attrition is going in the CT this set up.  The following are strictly fighter-to-fighter losses, and don't include losses of bombers, or losses from gv's, gunners, or ack.

Total losses since BoB opened last Friday -

Bf109E-4: 299
Bf110C-4: 155
Total LW fighters lost to enemy fighters: 454

Spit MkI: 330
Hurr MkI: 146
Total RAF fighters lost to enemy fighters: 476

More telling is the fact that Operation Sea Lion is underway, with the Wermacht gaining a toe hold in the Dover area in Southern England.  Whether or not the British Army and RAF can through the invaders back into the Channel remains to be seen.

Last evening when I logged, The LW had control of A13, A19,A12 and the Port 32...A19 and the Port is LONDON BOYS!  Just want you tommies to know we shagged alot of your birds and enjoyed a few pints in some of the more famous London pubs.

Nice team work to the Germans yesterday afternoon/evening, in particular Drunky!
