What do you guys think about the possibility Celtic and Rangers bringing their Old Firm rivalry over to the English Nationwide League next year? If it happens, do you think they'll only spend a year there before gaining promotion to the Premiership???
discuss. ;)
(mmm, it's nice to say football and not have people think of the oblong ball and shoulder pads! ;D )

Scottish football is a bit of a joke as it's set-up now, IMO. The old firm rivalry is underpinned by Catholic vs Protestant Sectarian bigotry. They have scarfs celebrating a battle that occured 300 years ago, with the title 'Never forget'. They can keep that.
I wouldn't be so sure about them gaining promotion very quickly - although they do have the fan base and the capital to do it eventually.
But not before Sheffield Wedesday returns to glory days of old! :D
