Perk GV? How about the Mammoth Tank from the C&C games? :D
Twin 120mm cannons
4x 0.50 M2 Coax
2x 0.50 Bow guns
1x Vulcan AA Cannon (mounted on top)
2x 0.50 on top (loaders top gun, must be unbuttoned to fire)
2x 50mm rocket lanchers (mounted on each side of the turret)
Speed = 37 mph
Armor = Don't ask because there is nothing in the game that can crack it :D
btw this sucker has 4 treads (yes that right 4 treads) on it. Two on the forward and 2 to rear.

Bring the Mark XII Bolo to AH!
The following quote is extracted from here (http://www.gpfn.sk.ca/~geis/bolo/history.html)
"At one time an effort was made to convert a number of surplus Bolos to peacetime use by such modifications as the addition of a soil-moving blade to a Mark XII Bolo Continental Siege Unit, the installation of seats for four men, and the description of the resulting irresistible force as a "tractor." This idea came to naught, however, since the machines retained their half--megaton/second fire power and were never widely accepted as normal agricultural equipment."

the mamath tank what country was it

yah bring the mamoth tank to AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or the flame tank or stealth tank............oh oh oh bring the comando to AH

In the Orginal Command and Conquer the Mammoth Tank was on the "GDI" side. (Global Defense Initive(however you spell it) It was a force under the command of Nato. In the later games of Command and Conquer the Mammoth Tank was on the side of the Russians. For those of you who don't know, Command and Conquer Red Alert Seris is based on a story of what if Albert Einstin went back in time and "removed" Hilter before he could take power.
IMO C&C seris is one of the best RTS games out there.
-
Btw sutpid, the Mammoth Tank is from a game, it never existed IRL. I wish it had though, would have been a killer.
-
King Tiger (perk)
M4 Sherman
M26? Pershing (perk)
Thats the GV's we need
add early GV's................................................later.
-
thought it had tusk missiles to take out planes?
-
We need:
PzKpfw V "Panther"
PzKpfw VI "Tiger"
PzKpfw VII "Königstiger"
I'll be glad to give every nitty-gritty detail on those, but I actually have to work right now.
Dammit, forgot the StuG III.
-
T-34 and a Sherman.
Treelines ought to come first though.

i want a Churchill Mk VII:
Infantry Tank Mk IV "Churchill Mk VII"
Weight : 40.7 ton
Dimensions:7.54 x 2.74 x 3.35 mt
Armor (max) : 152 mm
Range : 350 km
Speed (max - route) : 20 km/hr
Main gun : 75 mm
MG :n.2 7.92 mm
Crew : 5
The Churchill Mk VII was a major redesign. The turret was enlarged, with a commander's cupola, and dust guards fitted over the tracks. Armor was increased (early marks' max armor was 112 mm).
The Churchill was used for many "special roles" such as : Crocodile ( a flame-thrower), AVRE (a mortar used by Royal Engineers Corps to launch heavy demolition charge known as the Petard), bridge carriers, landing mats carrier, etc.
or
Cruiser Tank "Cromwell"
Weight : 27.8 ton
Dimensions:6.35 x 2.91 x 2.49 mt
Armor (max) : 76 mm
Range : 278 km
Speed (max - route) : 51 km/hr
Main gun : 57 or 75 mm
Crew : 5
The Cromwell was the first British tank to have a reliable engine (the Rolls Royce Meteor). Production started at Leyland Motors arsenal from mid-1943 onwards.
The Cromwell, with its well-tried suspension, powerful engine, and good protection gave the British tank crews the opportunity to be at par with their German opponents. It saw action from May 1944 onwards and became the most important, in both numerical and quality terms, of the British tanks.
Actually the Churchill fullfilled every role an armoured vehicle could be called upon to assume.
-
The Mark IV was really the workhorse of the German tank force with over 8000 having been built by the time production stopped in 1945. In contrast, some 5500 Panthers were made.
As such, I think the German armour is pretty well represented by the Mark IV until some other tanks are added.
In order, I would like to see:
1) T-34
2) Sherman
3) Panther
4) Chruchill
5) PzIII-J
6) Stuart
7) Grant
8) PzII
9) Tiger
10) KV-1 (Should be added in same patch as Tiger)
As to perks, this is rough one as one tanks may be outclassed to a degree not seen in the aircraft. The tanks are not like aircraft in that a Hurricane Mk-I can slide in behind a low-e Tempest and bring it down with a good burst from the 303's. If you confront a KV-I in a PzII you are going to die. There is no "it is pilot, not the plane" here since the 20mm on the PzII simply is not going to be able to harm the KV-I regardless of the skill of the tanker. Maybe the perk system can handle this, maybe it won't.
-
knowing how the .50s are modeled give ma heavily armored tank with 4 .50s THE TERROR OF ALL PANZERS!!!!!!
Oh wait i think we have that, the M16
-
Although I would like to see any of these, if they add something like the King Tiger I would hope they would also give us mannable 88's , usable for land or air.
Airscrew
-
T-34 would be a perk tank.
-
HFMudd,
That is true about the PzII confronting the KV-1, however that KV-1 is entiely killable by a A6M5b with a 250kg bomb. That is what is going to keep the perk price of any tank down, the fact that once discovered by an aircraft it is going to die.
DmdNexus,
I disagree. The T-34/85 should be top end free tank, it has some advantages over the PnZ IV H and M4A-3, but it also has some significant disadvantages.
-
T-34 would be a perk tank.
Hardly. T-34s are great tanks, but there is more than one varient of this tank. The early model of the T-34 isn't overly powerful at all. I dare say it only has a speed advantage over the Panzer IV-H. You need a yardstick to measure the vehicle by, and that is the Panzer IV-H we have now.
A T-34-85 is definetly a tank that you should worry about. That would not be my suggestion for the T-34 model to add to AH.

Karnak,
True, but if we are going to perk tanks based on their ability to stand up to a 250kg bomb hit then they all would be more or less the same. By that standard one could argue that the M-16 and Ostwind would need to be perked higher than a KV-1 or Tiger.
-
the solution is the corect bomb blast radius, now is it realy small so planes can realy precisely drop egs the can go low , in real life to hit something like pnzr was less or more lotery and it need direct or neer miss hit with standart bomb , explosion 20 m from pnzr don not hurt much them that why they tryed special anti gv canons and rocket to develop
-
perk the ostie
there is your perk gv
then add
Tiger(might have chance of killing perk osties with AP)
M4
Churchill(or British MBT answer to M4 PzKw IV)
T-34
Wirbelwind or truck with Flakvieling 38
su-85 or StuG III (cause turrets are for dweebs)
-
JS-2 or JS-3 would be a good perk tank.

A 1992 Buick Roadmaster!
"Having an accident in a bifg car is kinda like a bloody uprising in Africa. Yep it's bloody, yep it's ugly........but it's way out there."
-- Joe Bob Briggs
-
Yea Corwin, I could see that. But I'd rather have a 1952 Roadmaster .....
