Wir suchen Mitspieler für das 1./KG 51 "Edelweiss".
Du musst nicht zwangsweise deutsche Flugzeuge, Jäger oder Bomber fliegen. Flieg was dir Spass macht. Das einzige was wir erwarten ist, dass du am Teamwork interessierst bist und die allgemeinen Umgangsformen respektierst. Einsteiger sind genauso willkommen wie erfahrene Piloten. Wir unterstützen auch gerne beim Erlernen von AH.
Wir fliegen übrigens sowohl in der MA als auch im CT, wobei
wir momentan noch keine festen Termin haben an dem sich unser Geschwader trifft.

Interessiert? Dann einfach hier posten oder eine private Mitteilung an mich schicken.

No sry Andijg . KG=Kampfgeschwader not equal JG=Jagdgeschwader.
2 totally different kinds of squadrons. There is (was) an KG 51 in Warbirds also but has nothing to do with us.
We are an AH-squad only. :)

Yes Duedel, I know the difference between a KG and a JG. (ZG, NJG, SG, StG & all the others as well. ;)  )

What I ment was the Warbirds KG 51 & JG 51 were part of the same squad there for a time before they split into seperate squads.

You might want to talk with Kommadore ESME of KG2 "Holtzhammer" (She is also on European time) and see about combineing forces to make a decient sized Kampfgeschwader.

KG2 "Holzhammer" and KG51 "Eidelweiss" fly together sometimes? No problem so far as I'm concerned. Actually join together? No. We're greedy. We want TWO decent-sized KG's in AH, and I bet our friends in KG51 mean to see that happen just as much as we in KG2 do! :-)

Also, KG2 is a pure bomber unit, focussed on organised games, using the CT as a kind of training ground and not existing in the MA at all.  Slightly different to KG51, there.

But we're always happy to fly along with other Axis units now and then... :-)

Yes thats our intention too. 2 decent-sized KG's are a must!
We fly for knights and it would be really cool to fly together sometimes ... but ...

ur not in the MA?

i really would like to but it depends on the time it takes place. Maybe a few of my squaddies are interested. For me it's a problem cause either I'm outgoing or I'm asleep.

No, Duedel, KG2 is not an MA unit. MA combat is so utterly unlike the more realistic historical style that we prefer that there isnt any point us setting up in the MA. Different kinds of thinking and skills needed for that kind of situation. The MA is just for messing around, so far as I'm concerned*, because I far prefer organised games. The CT is good for more realistic training.  But nothing compares to an organised game with everyone flying as part of a unit to orders.... :-)

Having said that, it may happen that one day we'll see if we can nip across to Knights to fly along with you in the MA. Personally, I'd like to see KG51 start flying the Sunday TOD's... :-))
