Title: does anyone (i know some do ) have this problem
Post by: paintmaw on February 07, 2001, 06:40:00 PM
I cannot save my gun volume , HT won't answer me , other than saying "Is your sound file a readme?"
when i get in any AC my gun volume is on high , I go to setup/sound and click OK and then its fine . I went to the sound file and all my waves are on lower volume. I relaoded Aces 3 times now , no joy. I bought the newest anti-virus and updated it , no joy . Any suggestions?

Paintmaw,
HT is asking you if it is a "read only" file or a regular system file. Right click on the file in the settings folder and click on properties. In there it should a have a box checked. Make sure it is checked on "system" or "archive" NOT "read only". Hope this solves your problem.
