Title: How is the new routing for you?

At least from viewing my ping time, and host cue.

Host cue still very spikey, and V fairly flat

Post by: AKSWulfe on May 15, 2002, 11:05:50 PM: It's better than it was last night. Last night I logged in to the MA and it took close to 20 seconds from all the packets being dropped.

I don't think it's supposed to improve the actual connection when the server is at it's peak (it performs fine when only 200 people in there), because it's not an actual increase in bandwidth.

The bandwidth is supposed to come later or somein.

First time after couple weeks. Kinda 0 warps :D :D

Now I have always had pretty decent connects to th server. 40-60 ping times in the past with some flaky host que, and the accompanying jeryky warps. Last nigh was pings 35 on average, which is realy good. However my HQ is still not stable, and I am getting a small amount of packet loss on occasion. I discoed last night for the first time in a long while.

Considering I used to get maybe 1 disco a tour 6 months ago and am up to 6 to 7 discos a tour now with less flying time ??....was pleased to see the changed route.

Post by: Ripsnort on May 16, 2002, 08:25:18 AM: Rotten, I had to log back in twice, the bottom graph was spiking big time. Worst connect I've ever seen in AH :( IF this keeps up, I may have to say buh bye...both ISP's very stable up until about 2-3 weeks ago, last night was the worst.

Earthlink here as well, and my other ISP is via the University of Washington, pings were not bad, roughly in the 200-250 range, but the spiking, and warpage was bad. Bigmax also noted a surge when we spoke online last night.

Agree, never used to be that way til that gawd damn .home whatever shut its doors...my UW connect is rock solid, except to HTC. :(

Thats pretty much my assessment last night...ping not bad, no packets lost, but jittery warpage, unfortunately I happened to be helping out a low and slow squaddie (Blkadder) when the connect decided to take a real dump on me, came back online with my "normally-rock-solid-UW connect" but same results....

I thought boy this will be great!! WRONG - mini warps everywhere about every 1/2 second - mainly the guy I am locked onto about 200 yds off his six. He warps about 30 to 40 yrds up dn lf rt dia you pick it. I thought i was having a sixties flashback (knew I should have left those cactus buds and mushrooms alone).

The onlychange for me is that I got dumped after I saw a kill message of mine from the Host, soon after I got DTD, had trouble logging back on and then saw no score, no perks but another disco added. I shot blanks and saw my nme smoking and c almost disappeared but didnt; HOST Queue readings looked like the teeth on a broken comb. Not much has changed.
