Title: Rude Retires
Post by: Rude on May 16, 2002, 06:26:23 PM: Effective 5-17-02, I will give up the reigns of the 13th TAS. With the challenges of work, one wifey, four kids, two cats and one dog, the last thing I have time for these days is running a squad:)

I have chosen Sax to replace me in this role....he is a very capable pilot, has the respect of the entire squad as well as the community and most importantly, is a great person and friend. He will lead us all well.

Now, instead of playing mother hen to my squadmates, I will be able to focus soley on killing you turds:)

Nice to not to have to whip the guys and get ulcers when headquarters yells at you for not all getting 8:1 K/D missions when you get 7.43! The only thing wrong with this is that Sax and Beemer will make the official 13th TAS drink "Canadian" instead of "Merican". :D Wish you the best and "Good Luck" Sax C.O.and Beemer X.O. and the whole 13th TAS squadron!

I have three girls myself and one son...he and I are very close and watch each others backs...women can be treacherous ya know:)

BTW....Beemer has chosen, and wisely I might add, to defer to the solid leadership of the Toadman. Toad will be the squads XO...can ya believe he already started barkin orders about shoes bein shined...yikes!

and to those of you who said I was whinin, you right:D

I still think Beem should be XO, but one does not refuse a direct order from the CO. I will attempt to be a credit to the squadron.

BTW, Rude... you shine those shoes with a Hershey bar or what?

Well, I can't speak to that question regarding other squads(especially the FDB's):), but I always tried to provide some leadership and direction to keep everyone skippy and havin some fun....without a vision, folks tend to perish.

Gunner, don't tell them about the Buxom RNs we have at the Ex COs Retirement Home, we will get another rash of CO retirements, and there aren't enough Nurses to go around ;).
