Is this for real?  I don't think so, it seems too staged and I doubt it's even physically possible, but there's a nagging doubt in the back of my mind.  If it isn't real, it's a good fake.

I remember this from several years ago and it actually did happen in Houston, Texas. Under the Texas judicial system the 11 year old kid was tried as an adult for capital murder and executed after George W. Bush refused his mother's plea for mercy for her only child.

I dont know, if you run this in slow-mo you can see his head actually get bigger before exploding.  Is that possible?:eek: :confused:

LOL. Thats a great SFX.

FYI, if there's ever air forced into your mouth, the first thing that will happen is your lungs expanding..if the lungs are full (you may crack a rib), it either goes out of your nostrils or it blows your eardrums (and the air goes out your eardrums).  There's no way for your head to explode that way..unless somoene puts explosives in your mouth ;)

watch it in slow motion, pay attention (or freeze) the frame where the guys head blows. There are horizontal and vertical lines that suddenly distort the area from the guy's neck to where the explosion debri comes out. Then you see the rainbow colored chair behind him.. and you see the outline of the guy's head moving through the colors.

Nice editing, would be more fun if the kid had jumped from the raft and feasted on the corpse :D
