Title: Make buff gunners as easy to kill as field acks!

Thats all, they had no more armor, prolly less if you consider sandbags,  as the guys behind the small armored shields on AAA.

We all know how easy it is kill field acks.

Not a good Idea!
There were 7 gunners in a B-17 and if 4 buffs were tight that would be more fire power then we are now seeing. I think HiTech has it right.



Besides thoughs Tatter Guns you shoot can KILL anything!:)

I mean fighters should kill them as easy as fighters kill field acks.

Field acks die with only a few bullets, or even a 20mm shell landing nearby.

I agree with Grun on this one. If you light up a b17 from stem to stern in real life I think it woulda taken out a few of the crew. As it is now you can almost shoot the tail section of a buff off and the rear gunner is still alive and well, and killing you. Now add 4X as many gunners to the B17 and I doubt I will go near the formation, I think it should be a little easier to even up the odds with gunners without Panzer armor around them.

In my experience bomber gunners are already as easy to kill as ground AA positions, if not easier.

I've never killed three AA positions with a quarter second burst of fire, but I had a Bf109E-4 kill three of my Ki67's gun positions with such a burst.
