Yeah you can also use tape too

Read about these tricks a mth or so ago on a burner forum

Still not had to resort to these yet though ;)

why even bother with the tape?

Pop the CD into your CD player, connect CD player to your digital sound card, COPY.

Then burn into a CD and enjoy.

As one person in that article pointed out, Sony will probably urge congresspersons in their employ to create new legislation outlawing magic markers, or better yet, requiring all magic markers to have circuitry which makes them incapable of writing on CDs.

tac,
direct recording takes about 10 times longer than ripping cd's and the quality isn't as good
