Anyone have it yet?
I'm on the fence about dropping the $270.00, but my Saitek is shot. I can read all the reviews on it in the world, but being in sales, I don't trust any of them.
The only guys I'll believe are in the AH Community.
So, all you cougars, tell me what you think, and help me make up my mind.

I have one and its the best stick I have ever owned. I've used CH, Saitek, MS and other TM sticks and this is by far the best I have ever used.

Yes, I have had one for a few weeks now, and I love it! Zeb (my husband) got one the day after they came out, on an overnight, Saturday morning delivery and withing a couple of days ordered one for me, which arrived in the same way the following Saturday. However, ours cost us £250 - thats pounds not dollars, which works out around $400 - and we have the two of them. :D So, yes, I would say it was well worth paying $270 for!
We are still messing about with various profiles at the moment, getting them fine tuned, but it is very easy to program - well, it can be as easy or complicated as you wish.... extremely versatile. Having had CH setups up to now, we are very pleased with the Cougars, though the stiffness of the joystick may take a bit of getting used to; however, I am used to it now and can use it very well.... :D

I can't explaine mine. I have never had a HOTAS before nor have I had a USB game control. The input is smooth as a baby ars.
It is easy to program, especially if I can get it :rolleyes:
One drawback is that I don't have ruddes now since I used the twisty stick MSFF. And I have to say I am sucking very bad in fighters now utill I get some rudders. I am reluctant to buy some because I think they are makeing a set for the couger with independent toe brakes, and I don't want to waste my money on something old right now. Also, the stiffness of the springs is wayyyy more than that of the MSFF so I had to adjust ofcourse.
But don't get me wrong, these are no reasons to not get one. I would highly recommend it to anyone that can afford it.

I have yet to use rudders in a dogfight (Which explains my dismal score) so this would be nothing new!
