Well young grasshopper cheers (http://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/otn/party/beerchug.gif) to your terrain Nwguinea.

Looks good, I haven't fought in it yet :o  Now as for Strategic set up, well I'm not Nuttz :)  so you'll need to get feed back from people fighting in it.

Now!!!  what's next on the drawing board.

Could it be Convoys and Trains :D

yeah, where can we get it?

having lived in Papua New Guinea for a long time and now being married to a New Ireland woman, i've got a particular interest in New Guinea :)

in fact when i was starting the design for the "gr8lakes" terrain i was originally looking at New Guinea topography... i just couldn't get it to work for a geographically well-balanced 3-sided map.   the real-world terrain of New Guinea island would be fantastic for a two-sided H2H map though.

can't wait to see it!

nice stuff Hawk52, looks like it will work well for 2-sided play.

a couple of nit-picks about details, based on a bit of quick flying around when Roscoroo was hosting this evening:

 - the task group near real-world Port Moresby (C101) doesn't have a carrier... perhaps this is intentional?

 - the field near real-world Namatanai (A39) is kinda strange in that it's up on a kind of mesa.  seems a bit out of keeping with the rest of the terrain which looks fairly natural.

the forest tile looks good, as does the water.  and the coastal transition tiles are really nice.

ummmm  could you link that up in the CT thread and let the gang over there look at it. I think it will help Hawk get his map into there faster.

he sent me the res file to send to ht. Anyone know what all ht needs to review. I am hoping to use it in the ct soon. I sent an email to ht but no reply.

theres 3 cvs per side the rest of dd/ca tash groups. Hawk designed this map for the combat theater and to my requests.

I leave that up to Hawk, but he can just right click on the link and copy short cut then he can post it in their.

I not sure about the CT having people posting maps.

You'll need to send ALL the files in the folder PLUS the .res file. and the .awa file if you made a custom cloud file.

Nah..fat was not the problem.
At age 50 and still a trim 155   lol

Some may have noticed I was not around last week.
I had to go home (land of Oz).
My Mother at age 67, lost her battle with cancer.

So...coming home and finding some good news was what I needed to get back in the swing of things.

Praise coming from this room means alot. I have some very good teachers in here and learn something new everyday.

Thanks for all your help and support.
