Title: Attention Kansas City Players
Post by: Rude on May 24, 2002, 08:02:16 AM
One of my tenants owns and operates a computer dealership. Daytek Stock Trading recently went belly up and he was able to buy out their entire inventory of computers and monitors.

He currently has 50 NEC E1100's and E1100+'s for sale at $199.00 each. I bought one yesterday for myself and am very pleased...they are in like new condition and use Sony tubes which are very bright and crisp.

Just thought I'de let ya know...their number is 913-381-0333....ask for Dale and tell em Otto sent ya:)

Later!

Isnt Dodge city in Kansas?

Wyatt Earp did some law enforcement in Dodge and hunted buffalo for a few years way back in the late 1870s....

Fascinating history.

I flew one sortie and jumped in the car to go get another monitor.

When I got there a HUGE woman was buying the LAST E1100+.

They still have lots of E1100 (not the plus) for the same price $200 but I didn't buy one. Dot pitch changes from .24 to .28 on the 1100 and refresh rates go down.

It's probably still a good deal.. but I was so disappointed (I had called and asked them to save one for me and the dweezel answering the phone said "don't worry, we've got tons of 'em. He obviously didn't understand the "+" part. My mistake. Should have talked to the boss.)

So... I'm still kicking the 1100 idea around. I probably should buy it.... who knows. They're for sale on the web around $250 and I'd save shipping.

It's an 80 pound monitor, so shipping is going to be high. It's a big 21" monitor.. you can get dimensions off the web.

Anyone wants one, call the place and buy it. If they won't ship it to you, I'll go get it and ship it. No boxes available so there'd be some packaging needed too.

Note: they are sold "as is" with NO WARRANTY. They look new and work fine but the risk is all yours.
