Hi

Does someone know how HTC calculates your rank?

Is there a simple mathematical formula?

Nilsen10,
From the main web site, go to community,/scores.
Now click on pilot score.
Type in your name.
This is what you should see for your fighter stats:

Kills / Deaths + 1
0.4381 (1883)

0.8160 (819) Kills / Sorties
0.2951 (2135)

0.5862 (730) Kills / Hour
2.52 (2035)

6.12 (670) Hit percentage
2.99 % (2182)

Points
15473.8892 (359)

This means that for kills to death ratio, there are 1882 folks who have a better K/D than you.  Who knows how many have a worse ratio, a few hundred, or maybe a couple thousand?
The same for the other 4 categories.  Add up your actual ranks in all 5, and compare that to everyone else... and you are ranked #1700 on fighters.  Now add up your fighter, bomber, attack and GV ranking, compared to everyone else, you are ranked # 397.

Your best individual Sub-Category is Attack points (#73), and your worst is fighter hit % (#2182)
Try not to get too hung up on this stuff, if you get mad or bummed when you check out your scores, stop looking and just fly to have fun.  You can use them to help improve your skills, however, and for some folks it can be fun to try to improve on their own stats or ranks.

The best page, however, is "Player stats".  Here you can see how you do in and against individual planes.  This is especially fun if you fly a lot of different planes.

Kills / Deaths + 1
0.4381 (1883)

does this mean that I have 0.4381 kills per sortie? or 0.4381 perk points per sortie?

Im guessing Kills

BTW . I really SUCK on this tour :D .... but who cares

Kills per sorty are listed seperatly than k/d you could have 4 sorties with only 1 death.

A death is any thing but a landing or a ditch.

Nilsen2

My bad, I didn't even look at the numbers that I posted from your stats.

You get 0.2951 kills on your average fighter sortie.  Like most folks, your K/D is higher at: 0.4381

You shoot down about 2.5 guys each hour that you play, and one in 33 rounds that you fire hits an enemy aircraft (or GV, I think).  Not as bad as it sounds, however, since 1 in 10 is very good.

Points are based on how damage you do to enemy aircraft , and weather you land ditch, die ,etc.

ok Hitech

"A death is any thing but a landing or a ditch."

does that mean that a bail is counted as death??.

Death, bail or capture count as a death.

A disco counts as 1/2 a death.
