Hi
I think this is the best place to ask.
I have the Microsoft Intelli Explorer Mouse, and since some month's I have a weird problem with it.
After some time(the time changes, its not a constant time) the pointer simply gets slower, as if I had decreased mouse sensivity.
A long time the only resolve was a restart, or sometimes the problem was gone by it self.
Some days ago, I found out what is causing the problem.
When my mouse gets slow, then I can deactivate the Human Interface Device(HID) in the systemmanager for the mouse, then reactivate it by keyboard, and the mouse has normal speed.
But I dont know how to avoid this.
I even installed the explorer software, but without luck.
So, does somebody here know the problem, or probably knows where I could find updates for HID? Did not found it on the MS homepage.
thx.

I had a similar problem with mine a while back, I’m not 100% sure but I think it came up when I switched to XP, and updating the inteli-mouse drivers to xp compatible ones fixed it

you had the problem after you switched to XP?
well, I use win2k, and I used it too before the problems began.
