Title: When you hop in a "perk" is there a rule..

that your brain will be unplugged for the duration of the sortie ??

A rule that you will either see the ground approaching at a high rate of speed with vital parts of your "perk" no longer connected, or that you MUST test the folding ability of the person that packed your chute ??

A rule that removes all logical reasoning from what you have, and what you can do with it ??

This rule was not explained to me.

I got a bank of perk points, but I'm not gonna use them..

Right on, I may burn one perk plane every time a new one comes out then sanity returns.

Besides I'll need my perks. They are going to perk the la7 one day.

Still saving up for the P-51H.

I figure I'll have enough to fly it every day for a year if they ever make one :)

Ghosth was that not you in the canyon just east of A1 in a jug last night. Forgive me if it wasn't, I was in the Pony. GREAT FIGHT, as the La7's dove in on us.

I "think" I got two, before I hit silk. Did you make it out ??

Love those canyon fights :D

Ghosth, your skills are too good for the LA7.  I think your handicap requires a 109E4 or the FM2 when it comes out.

My last two encounters with perk rides involved the F-4U-4. One tried bouncing my Yak from a lower alt, ended up stalling it trying to stay on me. I followed him down and made sure I pinged him a couple of times, then watched as he fluttered into the drink.

The other brought his down to a furball on the deck and happened to fly right past my nose. :D

And why should they perk the La7? Sheesh, the chog don't deserve to be perked. Ya wanna perk something, perk the osty. Anything that can wipe any plane out of the sky with one ping needs serious perking.
