Ugly:)
And when I see an ugly plane I thingk it must be French.
Disclaimer:
The mentioning of French in the above post was not meant to attack, antagonise or generally piss off the REAL French citizens. It is just the opinion of this person that the French made some damn ugly planes. And to be fair so did the Germans, Russians and those Eyetalians.:D

Even with the disclaimer I'm pissed off ;)

Yep, its ugly temp... :p
Ju288 got also ducted spinners but this pick shows first prototype of Fw190 V1. Pick is lend leased from Luftarchiv.de (http://www.luftarchiv.de/)
Sorry cant place pick here but you will find it from here ==> Luftarchiv/Index/Manufacturing/Development/

Thought it looked like a Tempest, that ducted spinner sure makes it DAMN UGLY though.

Bloody brits where so impressed with the radiator lay out that Kurt Tank developed for the 190D9 and Ta152 that they tried to copy it. Kurt knew better then to try to get fighter pilots to accept a potato peeler spinner again though. Even if its 10mph faster the fly boys will not it.....
-
I think Junkers invented that radiator layout. See the Ju 88.
-
It was British! I got that right
-
Fw 187 'Falke" also had ducted spinner.
-
Hey Straffo, that looks like King Kongs hair dryer.
