Title: Damage models what i'd like to see

I'd like areas of the plane that get damaged further broken up into smaller pieces. like say instead of losing the entire tail of a plane u lose 1/4 1/2 3/4 all of it same for wings, horizontal stabilizers and the smaller pieces the ailerons, rudder, flaps, elevators. maybe these smaller parts can have 2 types of damage half gone or totally gone.
dunno how difficult this would be to do and if it's viable in terms of using up frame rates if it would at all and the additional programming that would be needed for hit zones. anyone able to shed some light?

A more gradiated damage model would be nice.  It would take a huge amount of work though, all the 3D models would have to be modified to break apart in ways they aren't designed to right now and there are a lot of aircraft in AH now.

Maybe its something planned for the future.  Maybe Aces High v2.0?

as long as it doesnt slow down my fps...right now my fps is super...think im lagging when it gets to 40 fps
