Anyone else not getting perks after landing kills?

No big deal, great setup!

I have flown only once so far so I should have had zero perks to start with.  I upped a Spit-V and got gun klls of 2 190's, a 109 and a manuver kill of another 190.  When I landed I went to the hanger and my "Last Mission" perk was zero but my total fighter perks were a bit over 11.

So it looks to me as if the last mission is not working but the perks are still being awarded.
