I wonder, how many players in one arena is enjoyable...
With 350 players communications becomes hell. Yes I squelch system, and I can squelch 1 but I prefer not to, but damn the messages go by fast. How about a second chat window for JUST channel 1 and system, that can be toggled on/off screen?
Baltic seems to be able to hold the number of players ok, but IMO no map smaller than this will be able to and still keep everyone happy.
Ahh time to go to class, mebbe i write more later

Smaller fonts if at all possible..
More complex but useful would be to add more channels, to report enemy, give field status, etc..
Of course using the mission/squad/room channels would lessen chatter.

I agree Skurj. I mentioned this last night to the squad. I squelched a lot of the clucking hens on chnl 1 and chnl 2 but thenI just ahd to do the whole chnl 1 as I was missing squad comms.
I'd rather be able to squelch chnl 2 altogether and keep chnls 1 and 3 open to be honest.

Room channel should be first choice.
A "Lanc high" or "Goon needed sap" message on country channel is simply stupid.
If you want to broadcast something for the whole arena (channel 1 or 2), you should have to choose it manualy.
-
Allow everybody one entry in channel 1 per minute, or just give all the former Air Warrior's a pink channel to yammer about old times on.
-
Have one radio default to channel 2 (for newbies), all others initially off. Then allow us to select whatever combination of channels we want, INCLUDING ALL CHANNELS OFF.
Also, we need a persistant squelch list.

Easiest solution (from a users point of view) is to add a channel.
I'm usually tuned to Squad, country, all and private. I could do with another for local, I don't use RW.
More use of local (or is that room?) purple text would do much to alleviate the problem.

Ya have a point Seeker, purple doesn't get used as much as it should, but I have to ask... How many even know about it?
As other suggestions, an intercom would be nice for the multicrews.
More channels wouldn't hurt
oh yeah and a client side SQUELCH LIST WOULD ROCK!!
