Title: X45 Rotarys, view pitch, view yaw?
Post by: JimC on June 03, 2002, 06:20:43 PM
I just got my x45, and running win 2000 I am using Dhauzimmer's drivers(2.103) and HazardScript.(8.1?)
HazardScript does not support rotarys.
In AH Under "select joystick" I see ALL my axes, including the rotarys:D

Under Joystick,  "input rotarys" are listed as:
X rotation (this is rotary 2)
z rotation (this is rudder control on stick, But I use CH  pro peddals)
Dial           (this is rotary 1)

OK this is all fine BUT! I want to use rotarys as trim.
under "AH control" all I see that I could use rotarys for is:

View pitch
view yaw

Is there any way in AH that I can list trims under AH control?

Thanks
Jim

not with 2000 and the scripts. under win98 I band my rotors and use them and rudder rocker, as I have peds as you, for my three trims

this is why i dual boot XP/Win98 - 98 for AH & games - XP for real work

I noticed the same thing. I got it to finally map almost all my view keys which I can live with using the default DirectX script that came with Hazardscript, except the crucial Pinkie_Switch which I use for Look Up. I can’t seem to get it to recognize that at all.

Any suggestions?

(really should try the duel boot thing but have never sone anything like that)

What do the other drivers do better than the ones that came with the stick?  I'm runnig Win2k and the drivers that came with my X45.  Asides the thing being a tad off center (rolls to right a bit), I'm quite happy with the stick

"really should try the duel boot thing but have never sone anything like that"

Real easy with XP & 2 hardrives

Have Win98 on master drive then install XP on secondary drive. XP will install the boot up choice screen automatically when you tell it to install on the "D" drive.
