Hiya All!
Bought a Saitek X45 over the weekend, finally getting used to it, and it has worked fine through last night. Tonite, I log in, and there is about a 2 second delay between the stick inputs and the response on the screen??? I haven't changed anything that I know of since last night, any suggestions?

Hehe, already tried that ... delay went from 2 seconds to 3 seconds ... gee, reminds me of my wife ;).
Actually, unplugged and replugged everything, turned the computer off and on again, and she's working like a charm ... just like my wife :).

It happens to me also with X36 USB sometimes. You dont need to unplug anything, just press reset button and problem solved.
I've found it happens randomly, but always after exitting some program.

I have not had it happen with the X45 but I have with the 36. I took it off one computer and stuck it on the other and it was fine. So I put it back, delated and reloaded software and it has been fine since. You are lucky having a 2 second delay. mine was more like 5 seconds. It was sort of like watching a movie with the timing off between voice and the picture.
Do you have problems with the X46 sort of sticking because of the spring pushing the 2 plastic surfaces under neath the spring. The two plastic pieces being the inverted washer and base unit.
