Just wondering, had a little problem in bishlandia last night. Some guy was ordering everyone about, giving people grief who were furballing in the middle isle @ 22. I got fed up and told him "When he pays 15 bucks a month for my account he can order me about, otherwise he can shutup and i'll continue to have fun doing what i'm doing". So he tells me to "go back to rook" and that i'm a 13yr old punk(odd seeing as i've always been bish) and when i tell him i've never been rook he says "WE want you to go there"- either he's got an imaginary friend or has now become the head of state of bishlandia. When Wildthng asked what i did wrong this guy said that i spoke when not spoken to- ROFL what a psycho. :D
Hope the Nazi regime is only short term otherwise i'll have to lead a coup.;)
Any problems similar in knit/rookland?
Maybe the pressure here in bishlandia is getting too much for some people.

In Nitland we have a problem with shooting the crap out of Bish Mossies, setting them on fire, and not getting the kill ;)
Damndest thing I ever saw, I thought you were finished for sure last night :)

Rabbits develop the same trouble when there is overpopulation

We need a new dot command.

thrila,
I've had similar conversations in Rookland. Main difference is that HTC considers threatening to send someone to bishland such a heinious insult that he immediately cancels the guy's account. :D
Seriously, though, probably the same conversation, except I was actually where he thought all rooks should be. I was defending other's rights to have their own fun and pointed out that, if all the rooks on the center isle/up north/at the worthless base/insert where ever here all left and came where he wanted, the bish/knits/whoever they were fighting would most likely start seizing all of our undefended bases and move north/ south/ east/ west and therefore negate his master plan of world domination. I generally find these conversations amusing.
BTW, I fly exactly where the fellow who pays my $15 tells me to!

those who fly under the sign of the dildo do seem to be overly concerned with world domination.

It was me!
I snook up on bish flank to cause disarray and chaos.
That 'move to rook' suggestion was a sneaky way to try to bring the gangbanged rook population some new blood. :D

LOL! as i bishop i can tell ya - there is one finger you can show to that guy thrila.
I did it last time when i heard squeaking about flying in the middle island and it worked out nice :D

Why not just ignore these self appointed generalisimo's. Or is that too simple?

I have to say that I haven't seen that in Knightland in quite awhile. I think he left to fly with the Bishops. :D
We have our share of people requesting/suggesting where to go and what to do, but I haven't seen any conversation get down to that level.
The Bish haven't gotten their butts handed to them as many times as the Knights and Rooks have lately, so we are a little more harden and tend not to freak out when we are overwhelmed.

Hehehe Raubv, you were buzzing me for quite a while in your 190 after i shotdown a nit p47. I almost made it back to base when you finally hit me good and set my fuel on fire (as i've stated in previous threads my fuel always gets hit flying mossies). I've gotten quite good at ditching the mossie when it's on fire- i've had lots of practice.:D
Straffo, when this happened bish were out-numbered!! There were about 100 bish, 120 knits and 150 rooks. Unusual yes, but a lot of bish switched when rooks stole the reset on the last map.
Vive la révolution!!:D

good god..any pencil-dick-mail-order-Patton who thinks they can ORDER another player around is so weak as to be laughable...now there ARE players that have a good sense of the sitiuation and either make missions or broadcast intel and reccomendations whom I gladly follow. Anyone who demands behavior from you should be politely instructed to get bent.

As a former sufferer of the AH general syndrome..all I can say is heap on abuse..it works eventually.
-
You are lucky only having one führer!!
Usually we knits have 2 or 3 going in different areas of the map.
Also, we do have folks that will coordinate locally and get a lot of help by enticing and making the teamwork fun. Asually these folks are successful and we take property quickly. They don't seem to squeak as much at the furballers though. Wierd, hunh?

gotta luv that ' .squelch annoyance ' command

Rookland occasionally has a little Napoleon or two, but generally Rooks are so independant and ignorant they don't get very far.
Mostly when someone says, "Lets get a mission going!" the answer is, "We don't need no steenking meesions, lets just work together."
I have a theory that its part of the natural order of things. If Rooks worked together the maps would reset every hour.
Who was it said, "If ignorance hurt we'd need a lot more aspirin."

I never have a problem with anyone trying to organize the Bishops so long as they don't get abusive when I go on my merry way.
-
Thats cause me and you are always leading the charge.

Dunno 'bout you but I'm the most expendable. :D

There is always someone giving orders. There's nothing wrong with that unless they think I'm required to follow them.
That's when my buddy 'Col. Squelch' takes over and I'm back to having fun. :D

If you think things and bad over here. Try WW2OL over here it is a "Nazi regime" and the place is full of (a good number who are clueless) generalisimo's.
But there.... you do have to follow their orders. Well they want you you to anyway.
Be happy its only a few over here...
