Thought today would be cool...working from home and play some Aces High. Well, somehow I forgot 2 active 8 week old kittens had other plans.
Was in a nice 109F8 attacking 47 and my stick wouldn't do a thing. Caught those 2 kittens playing with it while I augered into something. Ugh! Few minutes later, Im cruising along and then the power goes to sleep. Again, the merry morons stomp across the keyboard and put the computer to sleep. Ugh!
Don't get me wrong, love cats, just forgot how FUN kittens are. They yank on everything, sleep anywhere (ie keyboards, laptops, etc) and I think I was an utter IDIOT to put bell colllars on them (never a boring, jingle-free moment!).
So, cat lovers, here's a few pictures of the fellas killing me the most in Aces High today...

Hey, shades are fun to mess with!

Mmmm, nothing like a warm ThinkPad to nap on

Shades are MORE fun to play with when you have help!

What? Me? Do something bad? But I'm so CUTE

Hehehe, you big sissy.
Cat:the other white meat. :)

cats are great.. i used to have one that would sit on my lap while i was playing Doom and just look at the screen contently for long periods of time.
It was so funny because every now and then she would reach up and smack the space bar area with her paw. :D

I go "AFK Cat" about once per AH session. The favorite move is to jump in my lap and walk on the keyboard. Or even worse, lay down on the keyboard!

Nice pics :)
My cat is more insistent when he wants to go out,he will sit patiently for about 2 min when he wants to go out then come over and hook me in the leg with a claw (gently),if i don't extend from the fight and let him out.......god help my leg :)

Nice cat pics.
I like pets, I just don't care much about owning 'em anymore. I had all kinds of dogs and such when I was a kid. My two brothers and I used to ride on the back of our St. Bernard "Corky". We had a couple of cool looking Dalmations (best pets I've ever been around). When I had kids myself, my enjoyment of animals really wnet downhill. I just don't have the time to mess with 'em anymore between working all the time, payin' the bills, killin you guys at night, etc.
My wife brought a kitten home several weeks ago. The kids loved it. I would hold it some at night and get it to go to sleep. But man oh man, it would meow all the time! I mean all the time! arrrggh. I hate to say it but I was a lil happy when I got a call at work that day and my wife said it was having a stroke er something. When I got home it had died :(. Whew ;). I went to the lower end of my land behind the barn and hurled the lil feller as far as I could into the woods. Didn't want my kids to see it. She's now residing down there with the...
Goose (.22 to the head, had a broken leg :(),
Beta fish (kid put a 100 watt bulb in the tank  :),
Stray cat (slippery critter was doing those intentional warps when I had a bead on it, got it in a lag shot though :D)
...and various other failed attempts at pet-owning.
The Blair household is now pet-free once more! Wooohoo!
oops.
I don't even feel bad about all the animal's I've had to destroy. Is that healthy? :)
Like I said, Nice looking cat, looks like it has a good owner.

When I had to go to the store, I put my Jug on auto-climb and left. When I came back, my little Red Tabby was sleeping ON the keyboard. Fourtunatly he had put my plane on auto level and it was crusing along. He wasn't happy when I picked him up and threw him onto my bed in the next room..<G>

watch out hb
those aspca people are gonna jump ALL over you.

ROFLMAO
Computer desk's (and keyboards) should be cat free zones. Chairs, laps, shoulders are all ok, but at least in my house keey your furry like feline paws off my keyboard. :)
Tough to do when they are that age, but thats the time to train em.

Though I prefer the companionship that a dog gives, I do remember many cats/kittens when growing up (lived on the outskirts of built-up area and the coyotes would eventually get them.) The picture of your cat behind your window blinds brought back memories of one particularly rambunctious kitten my family had the summer I was about 17 who would climb my window screen up behind my blinds and make such a racket at about 5 a.m. He would wake me up every morning that way! What little tigers kittens can be. I can't wait to get a house and yard again and be in a position to get a dog or two (or maybe even a kitten.)
Very cute pictures which brought back some fond memories.

Le paul you scare me
i also have a little black cat (and a huge orange one)
i also have the same plant, beside identical blinds
my black cat, Captain Beauregard Schmoo-Didley (ret.), really enjoys aces high. His favourite thing to do is to sit on top of my monitor and bat and cons that dive on my buff.
he always tries to bat the cons as they pass out of view of the screen. really helps me with my con vector reading :D

Just got an 8 week old kitten on Saturday (wife has been pining for one). The little critter is very cute but loves to play with my rudder pedals just as I'm diving down on to someones six. Cost me a few kills this weekend but them's the breaks...
The kitten is absolutely mesmerised by the tropical fish we have in a large tank in the loungeroom. It can't yet understand why it can't reach though the glass. Good thing the tank is covered :D
Love all animals, small ones are just funnier to watch (oh and tend to keep you up longer at night. Darn kitten is as demanding as a baby).

Cats can give companionship too :)- I have one that demands I fly AH or WB. She'll whine until I come to the computer room and she'll stay there in a chair next to the computer for 8 or more hours at a time. She likes to rub her chin on the joystick and once she nearly got a kill when she pushed the fire button while I was lining up a target. Apparently, however, cats don't understand the higher mathematics of deflection shooting... she missed.

water guns do wonders for cats. :D

I now have a cat that used to be a kitten. One wuz cute, the morphed unit has 'issues'.
When it rode thru the apartment riding on my outraged ex-wifes Westies back I decided those issues could be dealt with.
To date, it's spent various nights inadvertantly trapped in the refrigerator, the closet, the bottom dresser drawer, the bathroom and 30 minutes in the electrical switch box. (where it popped the buildings fuses for a faster than usual rescue)
After the last one it seems a bit twitchy.
It also has a rather obnoxious habit of sleeping next to my feet, this part of my anatomy being the part it is currently waging cat war upon.
The stealth attacks on my big toe at 4:00am are nothing compared to the assaults my donut was subjected too last month when it was learning not to climb up bare legs chasing the towel after a shower.
The next bonehead that sends me a catnip toy will be cursed with after midnight pizza deliverys for a month.
