Yup. I agree.
I always start with a blank page.
(you bonehaid!)

I'm too tired to explain! Just suffice it to say that by the time I finally quit trying to delete the double post I wasn't able to fill the page with hate talk agains the arabs.....
It's a shame cause i had some doozies too!

"If they want to do this they should apply it to all visa holders. Muslims and Middle Easterners don't have to be terrorists. This is an insult," Egyptian physician Hany Fares said.
I tend to agree with Mr. Fares. With the exception of maybe Canda and Mexico, country of origin should not be a factor in this. If you want a visa, you get your photo and fingerprints taken. Would be too costly? Then add a "fingerprinting & photography fee" on to the visa application fee.

Link worked for me.
Now this is not profiling. This is prudent behavior towards foriegn visitors. Don't see how anyone could possibly disagree.
(Havent tried this dry-fly in a while)

(eyeing MT's fly from a depth of 2 feet) Actually it IS profiling if this new rule applies to Arabs/Muslims exclusively. To avoid racism we need to photograph and fingerprint ALL visitors to the USA or photograph and fingerprint none at all. Why in the hell should we single out people from Arabic nations yet allow Australians, Canadians, Japanese and even the French to enter our country without being photographed and fingerprinted?
-
Hell ya, I say you guys shouldn't let ANY foreigners in!!.
*Invests heavily in hospitality/tourism industry in Canada.*

Thrawn before we allow you and your wife into the USA we'll need a picture of your wife in a bikini. You can post it here.

I think the french should only be allowed in if they have a big red 'F' tattoed on their foreheads.

Well, uh...Yeah, Hangtime, or at LEAST photographed and fingerprinted. After all they are the incarnation of the Soviet Union.

Well before you get to exited, read this.

:/.
I've been waiting 4 months for my form 6 from the ATF as well, so I can continue competing in shooting events in the USA. As of now, I can't.
I realize Canada is at least partially to blame for harbouring so many terrorists here, and that our nation in that way poses a grave threat to the USA. I just wish they'd ban the people responsible for those decisions (ie Liberal Party of Canada), and leave the rest of us alone.
Hell, I'd be happy to be fingerprinted, and go through whatever hoops I have to, if it would allow me to continue ease of travel in the USA, and helped make things a bit safer for all concerned.

Hmm...yes...why indeed...hmmmmmm...
hmmmmm....
....
Actually Elf, I think there might be a very simple answer to that question.
After all, we all know that there are probably several HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of australian and french suicide bombers just waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Or perhaps you meant arab-looking Australians, Canadians, Japanese or French citizens?

now if they stick a GPS unit up each of their arses as they come through customs, it'd be a better start.
You Canadians don't have a leg to stand on. How many terrorist do you think call Canada home with your WIDE open door immigration policy? eh?

Really? Please go ahead and enlighten us with your vast knowledge of Canadian immigration policy.

Not to be rude, but you aren't much better off.
I'm sure you know that the 9/11 perps were in your country for a hell of a long time.
I do agree with you that Canada's immigration policy is suspect at best Eagler, but cracking down on average joe, and the 65+ snowbird crowd (millions of Canadians living in the USA at least 1/2 the year btw) is a move I'd expect from a Clinton-esque government, not the current government, which had my deepest respect until these recent restrictions on us.
Canada worked so well with the USA in Afgahnistan, our troops were heralded by the entire US command, as well as the President, and are credited with saving numerous US troops, and being VERY tough to boot. Hell, even after an F16 nuked a bunch of our guys, the messages sent out by most Canadians was that the pilot shouldn't be punished for doing his job, and it was a toejamty thing that happened in a war zone.
Kind of a crappy way to repay ones allies, although, I can understand if it's a statement of disdain towards Canada's government, as I despise it also.

As I understand it, an immigrant can get into Canada without proper documentation, ie visa / passport. His name is taken and he is let in.
From there who knows of his activities. How many terrorists have come into the US from your country over the last ten years, that we know about. Our borders are to open/easy to cross. It is a real shame as it shouldn't matter but in today's climate it does and has to be addressed.
I don't see a problem with fingerprinting/photo any immigrant into the states. i would like them all to be. Anyone have a clue how many immigrants overstay their visa? How many are actualy tracked down and booted out? Today ain't yesteryear, thank your average sandsucking raghead terrorist for that....

I'd like to come and live in Canada. Are there many jobs in TV News ?

what does fingerprinting arabs have to do with canada?
