I've found Win XP to be the most stable of all the MS OS's and I've used them all since Win 3.1. The AH film viewer does work in XP...I just used it.

All MS operating systems are a POS, but in varying degrees. I too have used them all and have found XP to be the most stable and robust so far. I have no problems running AH or the viewer at all and never have.

I suppose you have done the uninstall/re-install thing ?

Well try to be more technical next time.
And post system specs.

Ranting about how Windows XP (or Xtreme Pos whatever you want to call it) is not gonna get you anywhere.

This (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52598)  thread was next to the one you made, it has a little app that will let you know what is in your system.

When you know your system hardware and drivers, everything is much easier to understand and troubleshoot.

Alternatively go to your start bar and select the 'Run' shortcut and type "dxdiag" (without the quotes of course)
