Title: WTF? Insta-Spawn deaths

:mad: Just died 5 times in a row trying to spawn on a perfectly clear runway. Tried 3 different fields with the same result. WTF is up with that? So much for a good start to this tour.   :mad:

was not vulch dago happened to me a squaddie and several others at different fields well away from nme.

squaddie lost a temp to it.

did ya get a smokey kinda of thing on the runway then death.  This happened to me a few times b4, error msg occurs in hanger with components, any spawn after this kills you instantly?

It was a totally clear field. No error messages in hangar. I would just spawn, see some smoke, then explode. No idea what it was. After 5 or 6 times it let me spawn. I sent film in, so hopefully they can figure it out. The arena was pretty full when it happened.

Happened to me last week.  Relog.  Only way I could clear it.

Ya sure it wasnt someone pummling the field in a GV?   I got 25 kills vulching an NME base last tour   :D

Happened to me too

Seems to be somehow tied to the "invalid weapons set" message

I'm just glad I wasn't in a 262...that would really suck.

This happened to me too.  Twice.  Both times pilots were awarded the kill.

The first time I was in an F6F and had just straffed a PT Boat.  I wasn't watching the buffer, but I straffed the next one to appear and all of the sudden I had 7 kills.

The next time, I was upping at a field that was totally isolated from GVs.  There were enemy aircraft in the area.  I spawned in a hangar and died instantly.  It did it 5 times in a row.  An enemy pilot was awarded the kill every time.

Check out the Bug Report area, Others have been having this problem.

Yeah the evil invalid weapon set error, if ya saw smoke (kinda like mist just prior to the big sleep) thats probably what it is.

HHhhmmmm sounds exactly like the "evil sheep" event in the con. Perhaps you should all just loosen up about it. After all it's just a game ya know...   :p
