I'll be upgrading to a new computer soon, including switching from Windows 98SE to Windows XP. Is it okay to just copy my existing Aces High setup from 98SE to XP or do I need a fresh download?

I'm trying to think of a possible problem, but it should work ok. The only thing I can think of it you should probably delete video7.cfg and let AH redetect the new video card.

Another option would be to save your AH settings folder (possibly minus the video.config file) to a floppy and do a fresh install of AH. You can use the floppy to restore all your convergence, stick setting, head positions, etc.

I have done this and you should not have any problem.
Just in case, do as bloom25 suggested.

Thanks guys, will do.

As a follow up, got the new XP P4 computer, loaded Aces High from my old Win98 P2, and it works great. Enjoying much improved video and audio. I manually increased video resolution, but didn't have to make any other changes.
However, my Labtec mike volume is too weak, and I'm still fiddling trying to get that as good as it was in the old system (but that is another thread).
