Post by: Rude on June 14, 2002, 11:06:29 AM: I have given this considerable thought, and have come to the following conclusion.....

Last week, and continuing this week, there have been several threads relating to the Bishops outnumbering the Knights and Rooks. Contained within these threads, were some obvious whining which would certainly qualify for WoW, at least initially. As post after post continued, the initial whines began to swell into something, which I'm afraid I couldn't identify.

I thought to myself.....self, these are not just whines, they are most certainly something else....maybe it's crying? No, that's not it. Maybe it's whimpering? No, that's not it either. Then it came to me like a light in the darkness...a city on a hilltop, so to speak.

What I had been witnessing was a rarely heard, almost never witnessed occurrence of Wailing...you know, kind of like gnashing of teeth....very painful and deep suffering at the soul level.

Yikes, I said to myself...how can I possibly showcase folks who are in such agony over our sim? Would it be fair, no, would it be the right thing to do, to award the WoW to an individual who displayed such a burning passion for the game we all play?

Absolutely not!

So, this week, I have decided to ask all of you to show understanding to the individuals listed below...they only strive to bring about a more complete Aces High for all of us to enjoy...unselfishly, placing their reputations on the line so that, yes we, the simple players, can experience this sim as they feel we should, not as the developers have erroneously presented it to us.

For service beyond the price of a $15.00 subscription...for dedication far and above the rest of us, for the unique ability to bring a tear to even the most calloused of players, I hereby present the very first, WAIL UNTIL THEY ALL PUKE award to...

Looks like this meter is pegged on this threads original post.

I never have understood the need to whine about whines let alone create an award the makes a louder whine (wail) than the whine itself.
Ifluff'n I could get to a con, I would bring a Crown to present to Rude, for he is truely the King of the whine!
