Just some info
recently upgraded from gf2mx to geforce 4 440 (xtasy),
noticed my frame rate would not go over 60 in 1200x1024 res.
Would be at 60 looking at far off mountains, swithc to
f3 view, eliminating 80% of business in picture, still 60 fps!?!?
Checked my refresh rate, it was set to 72Hz, then scratched
head.
Apparently there is a bug in the geforce Winxp combo that
sets the refresh rate to 60 hz at hi res, no matter what.
Downloaded NVrefresh tool from http://www.nvrt.com, ran it, and
immediatly, max frame rate improves to 72. (which is my refresh
rate).
Prolly old news but i thought id post it just in case someone
else was suffring.:)

yup pretty old +)
I have an MSI GF4 MX 440 64mb ddr and XP Pro
I've been using Rivatuner (3dguru.com) which has a refresh fix built in for a couple of yrs with other nVidia cards.
