Hi all,
When checking all those awards which are around lately, one thing which I wonder, why you award only people who are low class, when there is so many high class guys around.
I am not intended to make it regular, but if you want my opinion, I think I will nominate Ammo. He is always friendly, do not talk trash, ready to and to help when needed. He enjoys game, and do not prevent other people to have their share of fun :)
I know there are lot of such people in our community. If you want to name some, feel free, go ahead :)

Preach it brother :D.
Here's a few that come quickly to my mind:
Frenchy - yes another 56th guy and one that drives a mean Jug. I know I'm in for a tough and fun fight win or lose when I get tangled up with him. I haven't ever seen him whine or talk trash with his foes including myself.
DmdCoach - another really classy foe in my opinon. He flies a mean Tyffie and never whines or trash talks either after outflying the other guy (many times me). One time I chased him while he was in a Tempest for a really long time while he dodged Rook after Rook after Rook. I chased him all the way back to his field with his radiator damaged and as he tried to land I was able to get the kill though I died a split second after that paying no regard for my safety in chasing down a Temp. He gave a at the end of that and never gave any complaint though others would have done so. Classy guy.
Frodo - a fellow rook countrymen of mine. Always there to help, clears your six, a great stick, and all 'round classy fella.
There are plenty of others in my book... Toad, Beemer, RAMJAGER, killjoy, RAFbader... I could go on.
Good topic Fariz. Thanks for starting this thread.

I would include the entire 56th with this statement.
It' always a pleasure to run into them (all of them, usually all at once! LOL) And like you said, win or lose the experience is always a good one. :)

What a refreshing idea Fariz
to you for bringing a most positive thread forward.
My nominee is someone who is not currently flying Aces High...but for a very good reason as he joined the USAF a month or two ago. This person was my first recruit for No.9 Squadron RAF and I could'nt have recruited a nicer guy. He became not only a great squad member but a very good friend to me and although we were separated by that little pond the Atlantic I felt I got to know him very well. Always and enthusiastic member and a great XO who helped me keep everything running smoothly. I'm proud to count him as a friend. I doubt he will be able to read this but I'd like to my friend Joe 'Aviator' Elliot.

Fariz...
It might be because it's a lot easier to pick out the low class ones...a vocal minority is much easier to see :D .
For every classless wank I've met...I've met at least 5 great people. Unfortunately, the wanks generate much more text..hence much more notice...go figure  .

don't wonder what HTC can do for u but what u can do for HTC
good ol saying
good idea
start with urself

Great Idea! Maybe this will encourage people not to whine so much and encourage Pyro/HTC rather than discourage every time they add a new plane or other features.

FiLtH is here now? Great! I always liked his events in AW - "Rolling Thunder" was a favourite of mine and his "Party Barges" (FR pilots invaded the RR arenas... :) ) always sounded a lot of fun too, but were always too late for me. I look forward to meeting up with FiLtH again here. :D

SALUTE Fariz!
Nice to see a positive thread for a change.
WTG DmdCoach, and to all who help make this sim what it is.

Fariz. We pay way to much attention to the Whiners on this board, that the people who really care about other people, and are respectful are often overlooked.
-
Ghosth, class act, as are all the Flying Mongrels.
Titanium, havent seen him in ages, but he helped me a great deal when I first signed up.

Wow, thx fariz. It is very easy to say the exact same things about you. Ever since I met you when we were selected as trainers (that was a long time ago it seems) you have consistently kept a great attitude, and you are a friendly person.
I appreciate those guys that said nice things about the 56th FG. They really are some nice guys. I really enjoy their company. We slip sometimes, and have intentionally taunted people on a few occasions:) but just in the spirit of the game.
There are alot of good folks in this game. Too often it is common nature to let bad actions overshadow the good folks and the good aspects of people here. If everyone would attempt to find the good in everyone (and ignore the total embiciles:)) we would have a better atmosphere.

Ammo ?.......Sheesh, always on my butt for going below the hard deck, constantly yellin at me.....something about 6 O'clock or something..........I aint figured it out.........and making me polish his JUG all the time.....sheesh Ammo.;)

SirLoin, Tapper and I took him over to the TA for a couple hours, flushed all that WW2OL stuff out of his system, and reeled him in ;). He's hooked, look for a new regular in the online skies ... gonna be a terror too, he picked it up QUICK!
Cya Up!

Great idea and great candidates!
I'd add Karnak, F4UDOA, and Widewing in this fine company as well, for well-written, intelligent posts regarding aircraft history and tech specs. I'm glad to have these guys on the BB.

DmndCoach
yourself! Fariz, Ammo, JOC, Apar, Wilbuz, Ripsnort.........Shamus...... ..geez..we do have quite a group of grownups who play this game on a regular basis! Saw, geez refreshing to see the gentlemen of the game get some notice!
to all and Fariz a nice post!

A few guys I loved to fly against and hated to lose to, Eddiek, Cobra, Pipz, Ammo & most of the 56th.
Guys I loved having in the same airpace are
Apache, StSanta, Saw, Apar,Bluedog, most any AK or VMF 214 member.
Guys who IMO have done more for their country & sim than most IMO.
Hblair, Ripsnort and anyone who served a term as a CT manager, CM or trainer.
Salute to ya all, fun stuff just keeps coming. :)

The one that comes to mind with me is Drille of the 457th. I have known him since WB and always found him to be a class act.
I agree on the 56th, great guys, too bad they keep shooting me down.
I think in general there are more class acts here than in most other games. I don't see the taunting or the garbage talking that I see in some of the other games. There are some, there always will be, but we tend to be more mature here.

Whoops almost forgot.
Fariz for a GOOD thread. :)

I'd have to say Daddog deserves to be recognized in this category. I have never heard that guy say anything with a negative tone and he's always upbeat and having fun at the game. And he's always sincerely happy for everyone else's success including times when someone else is victorious against him (not that I've ever been.) Great guy, he is.

Great idea Fariz!
To me there are a few players who stand on a pedestal, and truly make Aces High a more enjoyable place through their efforts. They are especially apparent to us CT regulars. The CT Staff and map-makers not only make the CT great, but they make it possible. Thanks guys!
A big salute to:
Sabre
Wotan
Brady
Hblair
Jarbo
Buzzbait
& NUTTZ
( I hope I didn't forget anyone?)

Thanks a lot fellas. I've enjoyed my time here. Many more good guys than bad, that's for sure. :)
-
My nominee would be Dawggus or BFD. I have yet to see this guy even start to get frustrated. He always has a kind word to say to anyone, and he seems to know EVERYBODY!
Dawg is good people, he must have a little dog at home he gets to kick, cause he's way too even tempered in here.

Anyone who lives in Kansas, their wierd but OK in a
Wizard of Oz kinda way:)
Drex for helping as many players as his time allows. By the way, another 20 minutes in the TA would be nice:)
Flossy, always helpfull to the community.
AkNimitz, training site is a lot of work for him.
Fester, heard a rumor last year that he was Ok.
Deffinately more good than bad in AH
