I'm using a GF4ti4400 and can't get the game to load. All I get is that white screen thing. I'm using the 29.42 drivers. O/S is Win2K.
What drivers are you using?

I'm running Win2K.
I've seen the 7.58 drivers recommended for Win2K users. I'm concerned about using anything but the latest drivers, since my other apps run just fine...but I don't know diddley-squat about drivers.
I suppose the only thing to do is stick the 7.58 drivers in and see what happens.
Before I do that though, I'm asking if anyone else has the GF4ti4400 card and is running AH OK. If so, what drivers are they using? :)

kinda thought you were using w2k, w2k is a constant in this problem...
good luck

I can't get the 7.58 file to work.
I uninstalled the 29.42 drivers and then used the wizard to install the 7.58 files.
The installer could not find a driver. I reinstalled a fresh 7.58 download...same result.
How do I get this thing to work??!!
-
Andy, I only recommend the 7.58's for older cards like the TnT series or the original GeForce line.
You should use the earliest WHQL certified nVidia drivers that support the GeForce 4 line. Crap... looks like the link in my sig is no longer working. D'oh.
Try http://www.guru3d.com/files
Since what you have now does not work, why not try the latest... you've got little to lose. Give the 29.60's a shot. The little smiley faces on guru seem to like the 28.45 and 28.32 versions as well, so those should be next on your liset.
Also, it might not be a bad idea to try re-installing the latest greatest incarnation of DirectX.

Get the new 29.60 beta drivers from http://www.guru3d.com.
Uninstall old driver set using Control Panel Add/Remove function. Then install new drivers and reset desktop.
