"Spamming" is flooding any information resource with useless information. Placing a bunch of posts with no content certainly qualifies.

I think Kieran's original observation was most accurate. If BUG really meant to boost his post count, it would have been much easier for him to post a dozen replies in the same thread instead of loading up a bunch of different threads and replying to each one separately.
Clearly he was trying to sweep Cit's garbage onto a different page.

Yes you can - in fact Soviet could delete this whole thread by deleting his original post. Just click Edit, check box at top left, then click Delete at top right. This works with any post, but if it is the first in a thread, the whole thread is deleted. I think this would be best way for this one to go.

LOL, yep I have deleted quite a few myself up to now.... :D It is remembering to check the box at the top left which is important, otherwise you get the "not allowed to delete" message. :)
