Man, if only there were a place where we could post off topic threads about Punk Rock's most blues inspired band....
-Sikboy (oh ayyyy ohhhhhhh)

Can't believe they are still touring, Think Ness is the only original left.
Last saw them in '87. MLM is still their best.

sickboy i knew thats where you got your nickname from.
and ya Mike is the only one left. well there is John Mauer the bass player but he's not part of the "original 4" but hes been with them since "Prison bound".
to Dennis Dannell he dies a year or 2 ago (rythem guitarist)
But all and all monday night was great, but there was too many stupid little kids with very very little punk experiance. (NO CIRCLE PITTIN goin on)

They are playing Denver next week - they want something ridiculous like $35 a ticket or some such toejam.
How punk rock is that?
Great music, but if you've seen one SD show, you've seen 'em all.

Social D is cool! I managed to score tickets to see RUSH live at The Gorge ampitheater in September. Row 4 right in da center! :D

I saw them in 84 or so at the Cuckoo's Nest. They were all strung out on herion and sounded awful. After they finally got off smack and made some changes they got much better, I have seen them maybe a dozen times since.
"Flying over Hiroshima, 1945...."

:D
I've seen them 5 times! LOL last time was back in 1996.If anyone's looking for the OLD Social D. on CD contact:
Time Bomb Recordings
219 Broadway - Suite 519
Laguna Beach, CA 92651
They have MLM, Mainliner AND one of the best comeback records ever (and got them signed to Sony/Epic): Prison Bound.
I also picked up the video Another State of Mind.
:D

Or you could just go to Amazon.com or your local record store. ;)

Now you can. When I wanted them they were only available from the folks I posted the info for. 1992.
I'm an old punk rocker from way back. Listened to the Pistols when they were still a band and Sid hadn't offed himself yet...
Remeber when The Jam called it quits? I was bummed that the Who tour overshadowed the news. Only good thing about that was The Clash got to open the show.
Thanks for the update, though! 8^)
