Hello there!
Thought there might be someone there that can help.
I am trying to find some information about the aces of various nations.
There is a lot about this on the net, especially about the LW aces, but less of others.
I am particularly looking for information about the Japanese aces, then the Italian, and also (funny, but true..) the american aces.
Does anyone know of good websites, or links for this?
Thanks.

This is a great site: http://www.elknet.pl/acestory/aces.htm (http://www.elknet.pl/acestory/aces.htm)
Here is a summary I made of Polish aces:

If you want books, look on Amazon or elsewhere for Osprey's "Aircraft of the Aces" series. They are fairly shallow books but they cover a wide range of nations and aircraft, and each one lists like the one above.

You might check this site here. (http://www.cableregina.com/users/magnusfamily/airaces1.htm)
This lists aces from most countries, and not just in WW2, but WW1 and other conflicts too.

Not a website but a good book:
"Aircraft Of The Aces"
ISBN # 1-84176-156-7
from Osprey Publishing www.ospreypublishing.com (http://www.ospreypublishing.com)
Has stories about pilots, bios, and technical info on the planes they flew, plus a list of all the Aces of WWII. (err, top aces)

Damn, that list is impressive Funked. I never knew the Poles had so many aces in WW2. Big <S> for taking the time to do it.
