Yesterday the southkorean player Ahn scored the decisive goal against Italy and Italy was out of the World Championship.
Today the president of the italian premier league soccer-team AC Perugia, Mr. Luciano Gaucci, declared that the employment contract with Ahn will not be prolonged.
"Who eliminates Italy has no right to return to Italy."
Is this sport ?
What did this mad presidant expected ? That the korean refuses to play good against Italy because he has a contract with a italian soccer team ????

I though he was only second choice and never played at Perugia (I could be wrong here). But sure this is really not the right time to announce this. I guess Mr. Gaucci really is a poor loser.

Actually I understand that Italian guy.
If I owned a football team and one of my players eliminated the national team of Sweden in the WC I definitively would not want to see his name on my payroll again.
If you dont understand this Babek, you cannot have the passion for the sport many others do. If you did, you would know exactly what kind of levels of hate and love you can reach during a game.
Personally my passion is for ice hockey, but I can very much relate to that Italian guy.

so, say that Italia reaches the final, against Brazil. In that final, Ronaldo scores a couple of goals and Brazil wins.
I guess moratti would also kick ronaldo out of Inter, right?. And Brazilian players would be banned at italy from there onwards, isn't it?
This is a pisspoor attitude by a bad loser who can't admit that it was HIS national team's fault to lose against an inferior team. In fact ,If I was Ahn, I would sue the bastard.

Sound strange, Anyway, if it's true, the Perugia's president is a foul, Ahn made a very good match, seem a good player.
Jeez, I bet now everyone here believe every italian agree with that Gaucci, bleach!
A better choise will be to not let for a year all the team members of Italian squad to play in Italy, IMHO.

Well, actually Mr Gaucci is a well-known idiot here in Italy. Usually no one listen what he says and does.
That said, there must be something more since to retain the korean player he'd have paied only 1,5 mio €. The player's value now is much more higher. Knowing how much Mr Gaucci loves € ... well, you understand ;)

Ahn missed a penalty during the first half of Korea's 2-1 win over Italy on Tuesday, but was hailed as a national hero when his 116th-minute header set up a quarter-final with Spain.
Gaucci told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport: "That gentleman will never set foot in Perugia again.
