Rather than the loadout defaulting to the last used for each plane, it would be nice to set a personal default for each plane.
I know I shouldn't be so hasty, but too often I take off with 25% fuel because that's what I used last time when taking off from a porked base. Or I don't toggle the "figher/attack" buttons, or I have rockets that I didn't mean to have, or...
Having an option to either use a personal default or the last loadout would be nice (er, with the default being your default).

How come the Bf-109G-10 is the defualt plane, shouldn't a hanger queen be the defualt? Or just be able to make your own defualt plane?

yeah, c47 should be default:D

Adjust your settings -file to read-only mode. I wondered why my planesettings are allways the same even if I changed them. There was a reason. Settings-file was read-only...

Use windows explorer, browse to your :\\Aces High\Settings folder
Location .cfg and right click it, choose properties, check read only.
I'd suggest you go into AH, set your aircraft with the loadout you want, spawn to the runway, .ef, then alt+tab and set it or close down AH and set it.

Didn't think of that, but it's a good idea. It certainly prevents accidental disasters caused by taking off with too little (or too much) fuel. Thanks.
It's still only half way, though. It would be nice to be able to select "use last loadout" or "use default loadout" for those times when you may be PT boat hunting off a base and want to launch multiple times in a row with "Attack" selected and a specific ordinance load out (or when making those inevitible suicide runs from a capped base with an incoming C47 and only 25% fuel available, needing to up in a hurry).
