Title: wallpaper slowing down my puter

I just set a .jpg as desktop background stretched to fit all the screen. All is ok til something using DX is launched, then the desktop refresh is slow down noticeabilit until the background is set again to "none". Any idea of the cause?

Solved, it was the active desktop.
